free tea for you and me!

Adagio Teas doesn't pop up on the first page of results when you search Google for "tea", which I'm sure is a drag for business, so they've decided to go a step further than just buying a Google AdWord: if you link to their site, they will "mail you a delicious tea reward that is commensurate with your webpage's Google PageRank".

Sounds too good to be true, no? Except that my friend Yukino linked to them a few weeks back and recently received their PageRank 5+ reward, a lovely two cup pot and four tins of tea. I'm trying to learn to like tea and this seems like a great opportunity to get some good tea for free, so I'm going to give it a try. Tea!

i can't imagine you brewing hot tea, much less drinking that much of it! you'll be back to drinking can after can of coke in no time.

Crazy lady, I have no plans of quitting Coca-Cola! In college I had a diabetes scare and I swear my first thought was "Shit, Diet Coke tastes horrible, I can't spend the rest of my life drinking that!"

Oh, we'll make a tea-drinker out of you yet! A nice steaming cup of rooibos is lovely with some congee, spam and salted egg...

Not that I have anything against Adagio, but I feel almost duty-bound to point you in the direction of Tea & Sympathy, where you can procure the delicious Yorkshire Gold (or PG Tips, if you must). Brew for three or four minutes in a pot or cup, then serve with a dash of milk. Add sugar for the "builder" variant.

If you want more of an insight into the British tea-making ceremony, check out NiceCupOfTeaAndASitDown.Com, which tells you allyou could possibly need to know and then so, so much more...

By the way, please go ahead and delete the previous comment if it compromises your brazen attempt to gain free tea.

Ah it's a shame they don't do it with Europe... I sure could use some freebies ;) Boy, is it hard being a poor broken college student!

you mean, free tea for you and you...

yay! free tea for me! i just got mine yesterday afternoon. however the green tea i requested is flavored... yuck. i hate flavored teas. oh well. the tea brewer thing is neato.

thanks!

They must be doing something right -- they've moved up to the first page of results for "tea" on google now.

This place seems to have the same offer, might as well post them to. Free = good
