I have to learn how to cook well now so I can someday justify the lust in my heart for this voodoo kitchen knife holder; chopping bacon up to go into pasta is about the only time I ever use my kitchen knives these days*.

* The other occasional use for my knives? Slicing up SPAM to fry for breakfast when I feel a little homesick. SPAM with garlic-fried rice and an egg sunnyside up, mmmm.

I love it, but it only seems to hold small knives! Where would I put my bread knife? Or my Super Slicer?
My breakfast for homesickness is SPAM with plain congee. Yum.
Spam with fried-rice and a sunny-side-up egg? I can smell Metro Manila from here...
I've yet to find a price for this thing since I saw it on BoingBoing this morning. Dammit, I want one!
you have fuckig kitchen knives?!?! are you serious!?? you mean you have something in your kitchen other than paper plates now?
I can smell Metro Manila from here...
Or Hawaii!
you mean you have something in your kitchen other than paper plates now?
I went to IKEA and got their kitchen-in-a-box kit last year, I cook every once in a while. I still use disposable plates though!
This will be available in the US for $40.00 plus shipping (anticipated) in June 2005! Demand is heavy and pre-orders are being accepted to ensure delivery.

UPDATE: After receiveing emails threatening legal action over the above posts from someone claiming to be from Vice Versa Hong Kong, I have to say that I am NOT and will NOT be assiociated with this company or it's products at any time in the future. I WAS quoted a $40.00 retail price and actually PAID FOR two sets for myself at this price. I was then informed the US Price was quoted incorrect and would actually be set at 69.99 US. Today I have received another email from the company telling that am a liar and was never quoted this even though I have the documentation to back it up. Still no word from Vice Versa about if I will ever get my two sets I paid for. Also they are saying that Vice Versa Canada is not a US seller or distributor and that the Hong Kong location is even though the Canada site says North America!! If they can not get it straight, how the hell can I?!? Anyhow, I think now I undertand why such great products are nowhere to be found and why it took me months to get any informaion on this. I feel sorry for the designer of this great set. I would not recommend ordering this unless it is from a trused retailer at this point in time. I am a bit weary of any company that threatens legal action to consumers excited about their products and willing to share information on said products- info received from their company representatives!!! Seems they think I did them damage by above posts posted in the excitement of finally finding how to get one and wanting to share this information! Also, anyone know how to delete above posts so I don't get my ass sued or end up ginsued with a set of these knifes?! Buyer Beware!
