I like me the zombie movies and so I am absolutely dying (ha ha) to see Shaun of the Dead, which is getting nice little reviews. Too bad those of us outside the UK are going to have to wait till 2005 to see it.
(Stupid movie distributors, shouldn't they know by now that the people who really want to watch it won't wait that long? They're just going to buy pirated discs or, more likely, download bootlegs. Remember how almost no one bothered to see or even talk about Shaolin Soccer when it finally hit US screens because its target audience had already either picked it up in their local Chinatowns or ordered the import off of Amazon?)

shaun of the dead is the funniest film i've seen this year, no joke. However, not being british, and not having seen the comedy 'spaced' (i'm assuming you haven't watched this), you might miss out on some of the more subtle references and jokes.
That said, you'll still laugh so much you'll snort milkshake through your nose. I did.
I *really* wanted to see Shaolin Soccer in the theaters, but it got so little promotion that it was in and out of the theaters before I was even aware of the release date (which seemed like a moving target as it was). Hopefully SotD won't meet the same fate.
