Hey, i just came to this site. Want some truth about Ruffa???? The truth, Ruffa was married to one of my guy friends in San Francisco. After a few months, they had to get a divorce because Ruffa's mom didn't want her to be married to an person who had 'no money' (he had money, but not enough to get Ruffa in the ladder) So, gold-digger? Big time!
Isn't the guy she married to from Turkey, the son of a DRUG SMUGGLER??? That's a way to get on the A-list; marry the son of a drug smuggler.

Guess what?!?!?! My bf's Turkish and he knows Ruffa's husband. Talagang drug smuggler daw si father! So WISH, sino 'tong guy that ruffa divorced? Does he have any proof as to marriage license?

Until someone can provide proof of another marriage, I wont believe it!

People really can't stop criticisms! lest just ignore them. I am Ruffa's ever-fan since childhood. And I am thankful for Annabel of guiding her daughter whatever it takes. Ruffa maybe married to a son of a "smuggler" but at least her life was different from among the others.She was rich and u---all the critics were just jealous of her.Ever 4get,she was the Ms.World 2nd Princess?She has helped her family before settling down.She became successful in Hollywood hosting.And she married at the right age...pregnancy wanted,unlike the others...what more do u want???

They're the type "to keep up with the Joneses" so to speak. The need to be there on top was the result of those struggling growing up years in the States when her parents migrated there. It must be hard for her parents and the rest of the family, with Eddie G. selling anything fr "kaldero" to whatever to earn more for the family. When they went back to the Philippines, they realized that they can't go back to being without enough money for the luxuries that they crave so much. Hence, the Brunei beauty issue. And later, being married to an alleged drug smuggler's son. She was lucky enough to be married to Bektas with her tainted reputation. With the pressure to be considered rich, she has to prove again and again that she has it, hence the constant feeding of the public with all these news e.g "my hubby bought me this and this Fashion TV, I'm the CEO there, I'm vacationing here in Maldives, Saint Tropez, I'm here in LA and I'm residing here in posh Marina Bay, yada yada yada. You can give whatever compliments you can give to your Ruffa and her money face Momma. It's known worldwide that they are both living in a puddle of lies. I've learned about how her career was when she was single and obviously, up to this point she still haven't picked up anything unless she pays for it herself (ex: throwing a very lavish party, or doing self-commercials in every interview). She won 2nd Princess in some pageant but yet she was not able to get a career or a job of her own in the states or anywhere else in the world. Her dumb husband has to buy fashion TV to get her a job which is now for sale because of her miss management. True when they say truth always comes out in the end. You can't use expensive clothing, jewels, or made up stories to blind people. Maybe you can trick some people some of the time but not all the people all the time.

It's funny how she keeps coming back to Philippines, I guess because even from her career start she couldn't get anyone to give her a second look in the international world. I mean, if her husband is a royalty like she claims it to be then why all of us here in Istanbul has not heard of it. Hahaha . . . What you think Turkish are that dumb about these things. Plus, if they are rich like she claims them to be. Why is she putting her kids in danger by exposing their faces on magazines and national TV. Doesn't she even realize that terrorists targets the rich also so they can use them for money to support their terrorist acts. Her husband got shot before, cmon use your dumb brain. Do you want your kids to be the next? I guess for Ruffa it's worth it just so she can be recognized on TV.

Real rich people would not bother to drop intricate and down to the smallest details all the time about their expenses and wealth. I'm sure people will still admire Ruffa no matter her social status, but the only thing that destroys her is her KAYABANGAN.

1. She employs 23 household staff in Istanbul (according to other interviews, its 50 daw, dunno which is which)
2. Rolls Royce car niya sa Istanbul, cadillac naman in LA
3. Calling her house a mansion, eh "villa" lang naman tawag dun.
4. The mercedez-benz carS they own are just used by security.
5. Whats this thing about giving birth to USA? American citizen ba siya? Hindi ba bawal yun?
6. Yilmaz belongs to a well-respected and well-known family daw. Eh sa totoo lang nobody knows the Bektas', except yung druglord niyang tatay. Saka I think he is Kurdish, eh mga salot na cultural minority lang naman sila sa middle east.

People ask why Yilmaz isnt around on special family occassions, and ang sagot niya lang is because "hindi naman siya showbiz person, at magpapacute in front of the camera like other people". Eh we arent asking naman why there are no pics of Yilmaz, but why he is NOT PHYSICALLY present at important family-related gatherings. Turkey has long official holidays during after Ramadan (3days) and during Kurban Bayram (more than a week) around January. And he cant show up, eventhough he has not been with his fam for MONTHS? Company owners or businessmen have the luxury to take a break kasi nga, SILA nga NAGMAMAY-ARI ng sariling nilang business.

I read in IGMA that Ruffa is now trying to compete with Dayanara Torres. My Gosh!!! Kapal, kahit ano pang gawin niya, Dayanara is still ahead of her because Dayanara is at least known world wide. I remember reading on the internet about one particular birthday celebration for Ruffa in LA. It was held in one of the cheap, dirty restaurants in Chinatown. Imagine my surprise because I never expected the Gutierrezes, who are always pa-bonga, to celebrate Ruffa's b-day at that restaurant. I've been there. It sucks, it's ugly, and it's very cheap. So maybe there is truth about Ruffa being not as rich as she says she is.

As for Ruffa, it really shows that she's feeling all the truth is coming back to her coz now she knows that people are aware she's playing the poor people of her country (Phiippines), but she's not fooling those who have been reading some of her blogs and articles that are financially well and aware of the higher level of education. She's caught and she knows it. Now, she's trying to play low key and even bringing her self proclaimed rich and popular husband around again. All in all, she's fooling herself coz outside the Philippines she's not that important. She's a passing gas in fact. I think the reason why Ruffa's husband doesn't come along is simple - mahirap siyang kumuha ng visa to travel outside Turkey. Possible na wala rin siyang totoong passport.

Hindi naman ako naglalait pero karamihan ng mga Kurdish sa ibang bansa ay refugees. But, pilipinos are already being looked at that way all over the world. It's just like Philippines has been considered for a few years now as 3rd World Country. It was even in an article on a magazine before comparing Philippines with countries such as South Korea and Vietnam and how back in the 50's and 60's South Korea and Vietnam was considered one of the poorest country in the world and they used to be jealous of the Philippines coz it's richer than them. But look at it now, South Korea and Vietnam are both in a better position now than Philippines. And so far, Philippines is not getting any better.
